At 4Life College you will be taught the Strengths-Based Recovery Model. Instead of focusing too narrowly on the challenges and issues clients face, this model encourages community service workers to help their clients use their strengths and resources to overcome obstacles. By focusing on the positives, clients are enabled to work on their strengths to achieve their goals, rather than consistently being confronted with their own shortcomings.
Diploma of Community Services at 4Life College prepares their students with the real “hands-on” experience in the industry and has the practical approach. This two-year Diploma at 4Life College includes a Work Placement of 400 hours to be completed in an approved community services organisation.
