Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at 4Life College will prepare the students for Child Care career and they will graduate with nationally recognised qualification. Students will build on the existing skills and knowledge acquired in the  Certificate III.

4Life College prepares their students with the real “hands-on” experience in the industry and has the practical approach, but also their goal is to make the difference to the community around them.

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at 4Life College will give students deeper skills and a better understanding of pedagogical practices and will give students the confidence to lead the team.
They will focus on creating engaging learning experiences and curriculum design for children that are fun, educationally guided and linked to the Early Years Learning Framework.

This course includes a Work Placement of 435 hours (20 hours/week) to be completed in an approved early childhood learning centre. 4Life College will assist you in finding a work placement employer.​


The program outcomes for this course are:
    ▪    Workers qualified at a Diploma level are primarily employed child care educators in the Early Learning Centre or Occasional Day centres in a room leader or management role. They could also be employed as a Nanny.
    ▪    A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in addition to the Diploma qualification.
    ▪    Preparation for further study and vocational skills with the development of study and research skills, language and literacy skills, communication skills, time management, planning and managing projects, interpersonal skills and the development of techniques.
   ▪   Additional outcomes include the attainment of a First Aid Certificate
