Certificate IV in Ageing Support at ALG - Australian Learning Group (formerly 4Life College) is building on the skills learned in Certificate III in Individual Support. If this will be your first aged care course, you may want to consider starting with Certificate III.

Certificate IV in Ageing Support at ALG is ideal for people who truly want to help others in a way that can change people’s life. Students learn how to assist the clients day to day tasks, as well as how to maintain personal care, organise different activities, support their health and well-being and how make their life better in general.

Certificate IV in Ageing Support at Australian Learning Group prepares their students with real “hands-on” experience. This course also includes a Work Placement of 120 hours, to be completed in an approved aged care facility.

Course outcomes:

• Preparation for further study and vocational skills with the development of study and research skills, language and literacy skills, communication skills, time management, planning and managing projects, interpersonal skills and the development of techniques.
• Additional outcomes include the attainment of a First Aid Certificate.
