Recently graduated from a 6 months Coder Factory bootcamp and straight into the web development industry and I haven't stopped recommending it to all my friends and family. Searching for the right course to re-skill as developer and the latest curriculum covering some of the most current frameworks. This short and intensive course is relevant and professionally done covering all the basic skills and concepts to go out into the industry with confidence. The friendly staff and teachers are always available to help in projects ensuring we are armed with the latest industry expectations of quality codes. The knowledge gained, networking set-up, internship and confidence achieved within 6 months immeasurable. Great course, no regrets, highly recommended if you want your career transformed. The Coder Factory fast track course was a life-changing experience for me, and really what I needed to make my dream become a reality. To begin with, the space is beautiful and conducive to creativity. The curriculum was in-depth, expansive, and pragmatic. It's been a wild ride but I owe so much not just to the program, but the people Dan, Patrick, Ruegen. They were always extremely kind and helpful. It was a fantastic jumpstart, super fast, engaging, at times overwhelming but overall awesome. I highly recommend this course.

I recently took the fast track course and I have to say it was one of the best learning experiences I've had so far. The teachers were extremely supportive, I was surrounded by super motivated classmates who were always pushing each other to do more, and the class materials were extremely practical. Highly recommended if you want to change careers into something you actually enjoy doing!

The Fast-Track bootcamp at Coder Factory was an absolutely amazing experience. 3 months ago I had never heard of Rails and had only done a couple of very simplistic Ruby syntax tutorials online. After completing this course I can confirm that whether you have a background in development or are a total newbie like me, Coderfactory caters for everyone. I can now confidently build a web app in Rails, use the console and git to my advantage and have met lots of great people along the way! Very friendly and helpful team .. highly recommend Coderfactory as your next step to becoming a coding wizard!

Without any doubt my decision to do the Fast Track course was the best decision of my life. Learning to code is an empowering, and in my case, life changing experience. The environment created by the staff and teachers is friendly, relaxed, and extremely collaborative. The exposure to industry leaders via weekly talks is invaluable, and the internship at the end of the course has allowed me to create a network of contacts and learn how development actually happens in the real world. In summary, Coder Factory Academy are amazing, and I owe them such a debt of gratitude for the opportunities they have provided for me.

The last 6 months that I have spent doing the fast track course for software/web development has been the most productive period of my educational experience. Coder Factory Academy supplied me with a unique learning experience that has ensured the development of my skills. The tutors who made this happen quickly built a friendship with everyone in the class making the overall course fun and each day something to look forward to. Upon finishing my last semester of classes, I realised I had come from knowing absolutely nothing to having a clear view of where I was heading, with a newfound confidence in my ability to achieve. The support did not end there however as the academy began networking with dozens of companies to ensure we all had internships, allowing us a foot in the door of our industry. I have never known a school to be so effective and supportive and absolutely have to recommend Coder Factory to anybody thinking of walking down the path of a developer.

The staff here are an amazing bunch of people! Each and every one of them take the time to go through any problems you may run into, even when it's just a missed comma or typo. The most important part of the course is the industry connections you get from all the guest mentors that come in. They make sure to tailor the talks to what you're learning so it stays relevant but also gives you industry perspective. Be sure to come in with an open mind and the aptitude of a keen learner as you will most definitely need all the patience you can muster when getting re-skilled as a developer. Having said that, it will pay off exponentially as these skills will remain in high demand for the foreseeable future.

I have recently completed the Fast track Bootcamp in Melbourne and recommend it as a great way of getting into the Technology Sector. Professional and Knowledgeable teachers, interesting projects and a comprehensive syllabus covering some of the most current frameworks. The internship placement allowed me to apply what I had learnt in class out in industry. I found it a great way to kick start my career.

I was in the 1st Melbourne cohort and had a wonderful experience through the course. I've recommended coding to various friends & ex-colleagues and some have taken up the kickstarter courses offered as well. The lead trainer (Patrick) and teaching assistant (Ruegen) were absolutely knowledgable in various technical aspect ranging from emphasis on user experience design, solving real world business problems to executing it. So this isn't just a coding course but a journey to make you become a developer - someone who could deliver a digital solution for any businesses out there. Furthermore, Dan the cofounder is very enthusiastic about learning coding and will assist students in any way if possible - from giving guidance and connecting you with the right people. Would certainly recommend this course for people who are looking to take on the impeding digital revolution the world is facing. Lastly, Coder Factory is not only here to provide you with a technical skills but also a great journey for anyone to reach their next destination. I've made great friends along the way. Attended the 'Coding Kickstarter' at the Sydney Campus today - loved the session - was very informative, and was a good introduction to Ruby / Ruby on Rails (writing a review on my blog if you guys are interested to read it when it is up). Will be looking to do the 'coding for beginners', 'web design for beginners', or 'introduction to javascript' this year.

Tanim and Farhan interned with us for a month at Code the Future. They were able to finish both of our two week sprints two days early! They worked independently and provided a heap of value towards our goals. Their knowledge and skills enabled us to grow as an organisation and they were a huge asset. Thankyou Coder Factory! enjoyable experience, friendly classmates and teachers who were willing to help you as you go along and great banter all around. Flexibility in the major project work where you can create anything you want using the required tech stacks. They also throw you into an internship in last semester where you can see how a company tech team operates. Also our class still do catch up for beers and banter.

Coming from an engineering background, I had no knowledge of any coding languages. The 6 months bootcamp in Coder Factory allowed me to get the necessary skills to be employable as a junior web developer. Now I can read and understand serveral coding languages: HTML, CSS, Ruby and Javascript, I can make static websites as well as more complex web applications. Not only Coder Factory provides you with great support and mentors, the team also helps you find a job after the course. The one month intership helped me have a better understanding on how tech companies work as a team. Coding is definitely the language of the future. Knowing and understanding the HOW behind all the tech that is around was life-changing for me.

It's amazing how much you can learn in 2 days. Absolutely loved the Coding For Beginners course from Coder Factory where we covered the basics of Ruby on Rails, some html and css fundamentals, as well as how to interact with an API, save information to a cookie and push our own inventory management application to a live URL using github and heroku. Very genuine team as well who truly love what they do.

Great coding school with excellent staff. I work with staff that have graduated from CoderFactory and they are top knotch.

Not just coding, teaching you how to learn and reskill yourself with a strong focus on getting you ready for the industry. Great teachers with a fantastic support network with awesome mentors helping to build a professional network. With a strong network they even provide opportunities to intern at some great tech firms.

My return to programming has been made much easier with the help of the Coder Factory. I had been previously a developer for over 6 years but I ended up changing careers for a while. However, recently fell in love with programming again. I needed to right motivation and spark to get back into the industry, and decided to enrol in the Web App Development course at the Coder Factory. It's been 9 weeks and I'm loving it. The course in the first two months I was comfortable with but in this final part, we are focusing on the needs of the projects of each student, which helps to acquire knowledge about solutions in a diversity of subjects. I recommend for programmers who want to upgrade their skills and for those starting out who don't understand anything about programming, as the content has been taught in a simple, clear and effective way

The 6 month Coder Factory Academy fast-track course is a great experience from start to finish. The course content is modern and relevant. Throughout the course we were introduced to many technologies, frameworks and tools, all of which I have since used and relied on as a working professional web developer. The teachers and supporting staff are extremely knowledgeable and are only too happy to answer questions and explain concepts in detail. They encourage creativity and provoke thought from their students. Throughout the course we also had a huge number of industry professionals and mentors come in for a chat, answer our questions and give valuable industry insight. Additionally, I was blown away with the level of support received at the end of the course in gaining employment. I feel this is an invaluable aspect of the course that can sometimes be overlooked. To have reputable contacts fighting for you to get work makes that first step into employment well within reach, and graduating with a Diploma of Software Engineering helps a lot also. Acquiring the skills needed to become a web-developer can be daunting due to it being such a broad industry, but by doing the Coder Factory 6 month fast-track course, and by being driven and self-productive, I have no doubt that anyone can successfully become a working web-developer.

I have recently completed the weekend course with Coder Factory, I knew a little code and now I feel like I have the confidence and the ability to create a quality web application. I am now doing some freelance work and satisfied that I have been lead onto the right path to achieve my goals.

The company is changing the stigma of bootcamps in Sydney. Attracting extremely switched on individuals with a fire for growth. The duration as well is perfect, not too long to elude the bootcamp feel and not too short to miss out on the key learning bits. The team is highly reputed and the students are great to work with. As someone who's had significant experience with several bootcamps, i can safely say Coder Factory falls in the top tier and hope for them to progressively grow and become the best in the world.
