Study graphic design in Gold Coast
With the Diploma of Graphic Design at the Entrepreneur Education in Surfers Paradise you will acquire the skills to create logos, social media content, brand identity, website interface, manipulate graphics and create digital art. You will collaborate with project managers and clients for each project, gaining real-world hands-on experience, making you an employable graphic designer.
Throughout the first 9 weeks, you will learn the basics of industry relevantdesign programs (Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop) plus traditional and digital drawing techniques to assist in project-based learning.
Work for real clients and build your portfolio
Entrepreneur Education houses a graphic design studio 'Estudio 101' that gives students of the Diploma of Graphic Design opportunity work on real clients. You will therefore be able to develop your portfolio as you study.
Your first project will be delivered in a simulated workplace environment. You will learn how to interpret a creative brief and produce 2d and 3d designs for printed promotional products. Your second project will require client interaction in the Estudio 101. You will become the designer for a real world local business, creating multi-platform designs for both print and digital output. The final designs will be presented to the client for feedback.
Show your work
Upon successful completion of all creative projects as part of the Diploma of Graphic Design program, you are prepared to compile a professional design portfolio over 10 weeks. This folio will include all of your previous design projects, as well as some new creative briefs for you to focus on areas of specialisation. Prior to graduation you will present your professional portfolio with your fellow students at a graduation exhibition.
