Gold Coast Dive Centre & MTC is proud to be the first in Australia to offer the unique Certificate III and Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation, with a specialized focus on scuba diving. These courses are designed to help students become professional divers recognized worldwide, providing a strong foundation for a successful career in the diving industry.

Hands-on Experience

At Gold Coast Dive Centre, they prioritize hands-on, professional training. Their face-to-face theory classes are conducted in small groups, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive learning environment. Practical training begins at Wave Break Island, conveniently located near the college, and progresses to renowned dive sites like Scottish Prince and Palm Reef. As students advance, they gain experience at various open water sites, all under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

Pathways to Skilled Visa

They take pride in offering all training on their own boats with dedicated instructors, providing transportation for students to and from dive sites. Upon completing the SIS40313 Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation, students may be eligible to apply for a skilled visa (visa 489*) to continue working in the Australian diving industry.
