Each week, you will attend 2 – 3 days of classes and also fulfil your casual/part-time work commitments in industry-related employment. Because the work placement is a compulsory part of your course, you will be able to work a little more than Student Visa limitations.
You can join this course without any prior experience and during your studies, you will learn how to:
- Prepare and present appetisers, salads, sandwiches, sauces and soups
- Prepare meat and seafood dishes
- Produce cakes, pastries, breads and desserts
- Manage finances
- Roster staff
- Lead, manage and coach people
- Develop menus for special dietary requirements
