The Australian student visa fee increased on the 1st of July 2024
The Australian government has raised the price of a Student visa application to $1,600 AUD effective from the 1st of July 2024.
The cost of your Australian student visa will be higher if this is your second or subsequent onshore visa renewal. In that case, an additional $700 fee, the Subsequent Temporary Application Charge, will apply. If you are applying with your partner, the Department of Home Affairs will charge an additional $1,190 AUD plus a credit card fee to include them in your application. This fee increased from $530 on the 1st of July 2024.
